Oh, so they can spam your e-mail. Ridiculous. This makes the Net10 phones a lot harder to use. I'll have to buy an air time card and get the number to the phone user. When they ran out of air time, I could get on the Net10 web site and purchase more time for them without sending them money.
Why have a web site. Also, I have $100 stranded on a phone account which can't be used. Now the website will take your money from your credit card, and when the time comes to "add the air time to your phone," the web site goes to 404 not found. I've bought a few of these phones for relatives who live around the country but can't afford regular cell phone service. When you call customer service to complain, you learn that you cannot purchase air time for a phone unless you are in physical possession of the phone.
And yes, I have talked to supervisors.

I doubt you can get a better deal -- decent coverage, great rates, and a free phone -- all with NO commitments. Net10 is the best deal on prepaid phone service. Minutes will keep rolling over for as long as add more minutes before your current minutes expire. With 300 minutes, I find that I get over 100 minutes leftover at the end of 60 days of service.
Ordering through Amazon.com was easy and fast. I didn't have to use gas to go buy this item.
Before the 300 minutes delivered with the phone (which gave me 60 days of service) had been used I found that 1500 minutes was no longer available. If this is not evil, what is. I purchased the Net10 phone because of the one year of service available along with 1500 minutes. Instead I would need to purchase 2000 minutes (at a cost 33% greater) for one year of service.
Highly recommended. It's MUCH cheaper than the big phone companies. It's easy to use. There are no gotchas or hidden fees. I got my Net10 about 4 months ago. I love it. And no annoying contract.
